Terms

These terms cover the TravelPlanners Travel Stories founding offer. Last updated October 24, 2026.

The founding offer

A founding seat costs $399 for the first year of Travel Stories, paid up front. Your year starts on launch day, January 31, 2027. The founding rate stays at $399 a year for as long as you stay subscribed. The regular price after launch is $79 a month or $799 a year. There are 25 founding seats. Founding closes when they are sold or at the end of January 31, 2027, Mountain time, whichever comes first.

What “launched” means

The library counts as launched when all four of these are true:

  1. Six stories are live: Viking Rhine Getaway, Viking Iconic Western Mediterranean, Viking Christmas on the Rhine, a Danube river cruise, an Alaska cruise and a Hawaii land trip.
  2. Stories are served on your own domain, such as cruises.yourdomain.com, showing your name and contact details and no one else's.
  3. Each inquiry reaches you by email and in a dashboard, and the story form shows your promised response time.
  4. Onboarding is done for you within 5 business days of your request.

After launch, at least two new library stories are added each month. Founders vote on the order.

Refund promise

If the library isn't live by January 31, 2027, you get a full refund, no questions asked.

Cancel any time before launch and we refund you in full.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. A refund under this promise also cancels your subscription, so it never renews. To ask about a refund, email [email protected].

Renewal and cancellation

Renews at $399 a year from launch for as long as you stay subscribed. Cancel any time.

Your founding subscription's first renewal is on January 31, 2028, one year after launch. It renews at $399 a year from then on.

Link (a Stripe service) is the merchant of record for your payment. It processes the payment and keeps your payment method on file so the renewal can be charged without asking for it again. To cancel, email [email protected] at any time before the renewal date; you keep access until the end of the year you paid for.

City exclusivity

A founder claims one metro area, based on the ZIP code of their agency and matched to a US Census metro area (CBSA). While you stay subscribed, no other advisor can get the Travel Stories library in your metro. If a metro already has a founder, it cannot be claimed while that founder stays subscribed. Some metros may already be held. If you choose a held metro, you stay on its waitlist, and we email you if it opens up during founding. Exclusivity is offered only during founding: after founding closes, metros without a founder are open to any number of subscribers. If a founder cancels after founding closes, their metro becomes open too. We check your ZIP against your agency address at onboarding.

Your stories and your leads

Stories are licensed to you for use on your own domain while you are subscribed. Inquiries from your stories belong to you; we do not sell or share them.

Cruise lines and itineraries

Stories may name cruise lines and itineraries to describe what they cover. TravelPlanners is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any cruise line or by Cruise Planners.
